I've lived in Santa Cruz since 1989. It's Eden with traffic jams, heaven with a high cost of living, and I can't imagine living anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip with my grandparents, who were visiting from out of state. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel, and, finally, to the Hearst Castle.

The college town of Santa Cruz holds a fascination for everyone from tourists, to the beach crowd and those taking a break from Silicon Valley. It's a fun, happening place with lots of things to see besides the Boardwalk.
