Goolwa in south Australia is a great place to visit during the whale season, from May to October. We went during the spring school holidays of 2000, and the whales cooperated!

Marine Cove Resort

Marine Cove Resort is situated at Goolwa, within a one-hour drive from Adelaide. It is situated at the mouth of the River Murray. A short walk takes you to Goolwa Beach, so you get the best of both river and sea.
