- Boracay is the top tourist destination in the Philippines, with a length of just about 6km and a width of one that makes it even more fascinating. In this journal I shall try to guess (with words and photos) some of the reasons.

- When I was growing up in the Philippines, I always heard "paradise" whenever Boracay was mentioned. I finally made it here during the Christmas of 2004 with a group of friends. I couldn't have asked for a more fun destination to celebrate my birthday.

- This is my second time in Boracay. I enjoyed my first, I stayed in Cocomangas. My stay in Tirol & Tirol is a much different experience.

- Going back to Boracay, not in the summer season, is a different trip altogether. Despite the drizzle and the clouds, the fine sand and the crystal-clear waters remain enticing.
