We visited the Chetola resort in Blowing Rock. It was by far the most beautiful resort we've ever visited. The stocked trout lake provided cheap entertainment and dinner a couple of nights. The condo was elegant and spacious. The restaurant on-site was wonderful. We are going back next year.

Located directly on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Eastern Continental Divide, Blowing Rock has been a popular mountain getaway for over a century. At an elevation of 4,000 feet above sea level, this quaint village serves as a perfect hub to explore the surrounding mountains.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful, from the small resort towns to the parkway to the hiking trails.

Chetola is a lovely resort. Our one-bedroom unit was a nice size and well equipped. The desk staff were very helpful and extremely nice. We didn't get to use the great rec complex. It was a place I'd like to go back to.

We stayed at Chetola in Blowing Rock between Christmas and New Years. The resort was beautifully decorated with outside lights. We went skiing at Appalachian Ski mountain. It was a very nice trip.
