- We visited the Chetola resort in Blowing Rock. It was by far the most beautiful resort we've ever visited. The stocked trout lake provided cheap entertainment and dinner a couple of nights. The condo was elegant and spacious. The restaurant on-site was wonderful. We are going back next year.

- Located directly on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Eastern Continental Divide, Blowing Rock has been a popular mountain getaway for over a century. At an elevation of 4,000 feet above sea level, this quaint village serves as a perfect hub to explore the surrounding mountains.

- Chetola is a lovely resort. Our one-bedroom unit was a nice size and well equipped. The desk staff were very helpful and extremely nice. We didn't get to use the great rec complex. It was a place I'd like to go back to.

- We stayed at Chetola in Blowing Rock between Christmas and New Years. The resort was beautifully decorated with outside lights. We went skiing at Appalachian Ski mountain. It was a very nice trip.
