Relaxing in the Dominican Republic

I was looking for a quick and inexpensive getaway. Flights to Dominican Republic are just that, and resorts seem to be as well. This is not a highly visited area by Americans, which was a nice change.

The lesser known Dominican Republic

My first of many more vacations to the Dominican Republic. The town of Juan Dolio was only a 45 minute ride from Santo Domingo.

This was a nightmare! Inadequate air conditioning, did not speak English, food poor, no blankets, sexually harassing employees, etc.
