- Club Sabatini is located on beautiful Sosua Bay in the Dominican Republic. Our weather in March was a "balmy" 80+ degrees and sunny most of the week. The town of Sosua is located just outside of the resort front door.

- We went to Sousa Bay Resort, what a horrible place. Make sure you take extra money, because the all inclusive is not really true. The drinks are lousy. The beach is 50 feet long - the rest is public and you have to walk down the sandbags to get to it.

- Peeling paint, no water pressure (a dribble), and a mattress on a slab of wood: this describes your room accommodations. The food was good and the people are nice. It is a far cry from a Gold Crown resort, even despite the third-world country.

- We enjoyed very much all kinds of water sports available. We rode the cable car that took us to the top of a mountain and there was a big tall Christ similar to the one in Brasil. We went snorkeling and rode 4 wheel motor bikes.

- Coconut Palms Resort has certainly seen its better days! Perhaps about 10 years ago it was lovely. However, RCI and Meridian had better take another close look and re-evaluate its status! The resort is seedy and is lacking in electrical and plumbing upkeep.
