- Excellent workmanship perfectly blended with a taste for history has reawakened a city that was on the verge of death after World War II. An extravagance of restored churches, rows of fine miraculous reconstructions and cobbled streets lined with speciality shops have all contributed in making Gdansk Poland's top attraction.

- Gdansk, like many other Polish cities are only recently being discovered as tourist meccas. This coastal city is reminiscent of Copenhagen or Amsterdam in its atmosphere, except at a fraction of a price.

- Gdansk is one of my favorite Polish cities since it has a wonderful harbor, fascinating Dutch architecture, and is home to Solidarity Union.

- I've been here 3 times, over 4 years, and never failed to enjoy my stay. I first visited when I was living in Poland, and it was the first time I'd seen life without snow for 6 months! It's livelier, and more happening, than much of Poland.
