- I was able to accompany my husband on a business trip to Marco Island. Although we weren't able to do much while he was working, we were able to enjoy a quiet week on the beach in December, far away from the bitter cold of Colorado.

- The weather is sub-tropical. The water is warm and inviting. The dolphins play, and the beach will knock your socks off.

- Week in Marco Island was a nice winter break with perfect weather and enough to do and relax. This was a family of 4 + a friend trip. The ocean was too cold to swim but the shelling, birding, and other activities made up for that.

- We had a terrific "sea-faring week" in late-January....staying at the timeshare resort of Marco Resort & Club, on the Island's north end...in Olde Marco!

- The condo was immaculate. We docked behind the condo. Felt truly like owners and royalty. We took the boat out several times to see the sunset in the gulf. The canals and passages was a bit like a little Venice. We highly recommend this resort!

- My husband and I had planned a getaway week to enjoy and relax and be away by ourselves for a change without the kids. We were really looking forward to some time to ourselves.
