- Vieques is a small island off the east coast of Puerto Rico. It features an uncrowded and laidback style, beautiful arcs of sandy beaches, and an amazing bioluminscent bay, truly a wonder of nature.

- A quick day trip to Vieques proved to be the most memorable of our week in Puerto Rico, especially our trip to the bioluminescent bay!

- I wanted to get away from New York City and head to the beach. We hesitated about going to Puerto Rico because we've already been to Culebra, but the short flight and the 85-degree F weather forecast made us visit Vieques.
