We spent several days in and around Shiraz on our 2006 tour of Iran. This city gives its name to the famous red wine but you'll not get more than alcohol-free beer these days.

Shiraz is said to be the city of poets. Two of the most famous poets lived here and have their tombs here. Hafiz and Saadi whose poems are great! Influenced by nice women and wine.
