- This was our first time we visited Stowe in May and it was a wonderful time for a vacation. We had beautiful weather and since the peak season had not officially begun, we didn't have problems with crowds! Stowe truly is shedding it's image as a winter destination.

- We went to enjoy the foliage, but got lots of snow instead. If we had been prepared for it (boots, etc.) it would have been fine. As a matter of fact, if the resort had been prepared, it would have been even better.

- Is there anyhing to do in Vermont besides skiing?! Yes, there is something for everyone, as this extensive review will explain in detail. The accommodations, resort, area restaurants, and area attractions (natural and manmade) were all very good to excellent.

- This was our third trip to Stowe; we have also stayed at Smuggler's Notch and Mountainside Resort. The room we had was very spacious and had two bedrooms downstairs and another bedroom with twin beds upstairs in a loft. The resort is also close to the Stowe Recreation Path.
