The Moorings at Tomakin is a great place if you like to fish or go to the beach, but the units are small. The bathroom is so tiny that if you stepped back, you fell into the toilet. Kitchen facilities were minimal, and there was no playground for young children (but a great tennis court and boats for hire) and no video. The fridge was incapable of holding supplies. It was not supplied with laundry powder, there were no exhaust fans, the billiard table was torn, the snooker/billiard balls missing, and the pool area needed upgrading.

Our visit to The Moorings in Tomakin, New South Wales, was a pleasant change from city life in Sydney. The beaches in the surrounding area were delightful, and there was plenty to do, with a tennis court, adjoining 9-hole golf course, indoor swimming pool, and fishing on the adjoining river.

This was the BEST vacation ever. I definitely will go back again -- next time I plan to spend at least two months touring the continent. I still can't believe all the roos running free. One even gave me a kiss! I have a picture to prove it.
