- We had an idea of what to expect due to what we had heard and read about Cambodia's capital, but nothing prepares you for tuk-tuk drivers saying "I take you to killing field to show you where my parents were killed."

- The main reason for travelling to Phnom Penh was to visit the sites associated with the Khmer Rouge—the Tuol Sleng museum and Choeung Ek (The killing fields). It sounds a bit gruesome and it is, but there are many positive things to take away from the city.
