Trial by fire is really the best way to learn. I didn't really expect to be leading the tour, particularly since I had never been to the islands before. Other than the route instructions that are given to all of the guests, I didn't have a clue as to where we were going. The goal for the first half of the day was to ride from Vancouver to Swartz Bay to catch the ferry to Salt Spring. Close
