Visiting Hawaii (Big Island)

On the Big Island of Hawaii, nature is writ large. Skiers zip down the world’s tallest mountain. Hikers watch the most active volcano on earth (Kilauea) spew fireworks into the sky. Divers explore waters bursting with all manner of tropical sea life, and whale-watchers and fishermen congregate on the Kona Coast. Pristine beaches, misty rain forests, and stark plains of black lava are all here for the taking. Honestly, what more could you want from an island?
