I visited this deserted boardwalk that bares an uncanny resemblance to the one in the Tom Hanks movie, Big. However, instead of there being gypsies and rides, there was nothing. The beach was deserted except for a few people throwing a frisbee to their dog and a group of teenagers just hanging out. In the parking lot nearby, there were a lot of pigeons hanging out - seems like there might have been a lot of food there... Some young boys were playing street hockey. The little amount of activity is what made it so nice - very peaceful. Close
