As you leave the train station, follow the crowd as they cross the street and continue downhill toward the lake. You'll come to the center of town, a cobblestone street lined on both sides with cafes, patisseries (pastry shops), restaurants, and shops; there is a fountain in the center of the street. The street has a 13th-century castle that houses the Military Museum at one end of it, and a church on the other end. The Hotel de la Couronne sits right on this street, toward the museum. This is just the right place to stop and enjoy a citron tarte (lemon tart) or some ice cream while you watch folks window shop or stroll by.Close
