The Rosewood Barn Rt. 103, Newbury This store has very interesting imported things. They have furniture down to the knick-knacks, as well as art by local artists. The building is a post and beam barn and just a look at it is worth the trip.
Mesa International Factory Store, 135 Elkins Road, Elkins, NH This ceramic outlet for Mesa Pottery is about 20 minutes away. They have great colorful pottery at good prices. When my friends visit, it's always on their "must do" list.

Mt. Sunapee ski area is fabulous. Now owned by the same family that owns and operates Okemo in Vermont. If you haven’t ever been, you are in for a treat. If you’ve been but not for at least 4 years...you’re going to see major changes. Several new fantastic lodges have been built. There are many new trails and new high-speed lifts. It’s a friendly place to bring your family, and the programming is not only wonderful but affordable. Be sure and go online and get a brochure of current deals and prices before you arrive. Many days have a deal and you want to plan your trip to take advantage of them. For example - many Mondays tickets are $25 for everyone, Tuesday is Ladies Day and tickets are $36 for ladies, Wednesday is 2-for-1 day, special rates for military apply all the time, and there are days that are simply ski FREE!
