Okay, we admit it: we're suckers for decent animal photos. From the wary eyes, to the matted fur, to the hint of the feral that exists in the cutest of creatures, animals inspire a primitive empathy that nothing else can compete with. It's fair to point out that we celebrate them a lot, we know, but you know what? It makes our days a little easier. And with that in mind, we're calling attention to pictures of two animals at rest. If you feel like pulling up the covers, lie back with our Photos of the Week.
In dictionaries, the entry for“cozy” occasionally has a picture of a bird's nest. When BawBaw zoomed in on two birds in a pond, she offered us a glimpse of what comfort means in the wild. A toast to your eye for the little things, BawBaw.

Unlike their equine cousins, camels lie down when they rest. When Slug stumbled over two camels in the middle of a break, he took the opportunity to show us what such a thing looks like. Here's to your future as a painter of repose, Slug.
