It feels like all things Paris this week with Woody Allen’s new
movie, “Midnight in Paris” and David McCullough’s just published “The
Greater Journey” chronicling Americans in Paris. And currently taking
center stage is the prestigious French Open, one of four of the Grand
Slam tennis tournaments.
If you are lucky enough to be in Paris this week, our IgoUgo members have stellar suggestions to get the most out of your stay.
NiceGinna advises that “one doesn't have to wait for the French Open to visit Roland Garros.” And, if you’re not a tennis fan, allain promises you will “spot celebrities, French actors, international pop stars and a lot of top models also” at the stadium.
Dkm1981’s guide to walking in Paris tells us
“one of the best ways to enjoy this fabulous city is on foot and you
can incorporate some of the city's most popular attractions and sights
with this series of walks.”
If you want to add biking to your walking itinerary, follow sararevell’s journal “Paris by Bike, Bar and Bistro.” “Riding around Paris was the biggest highlight for me,” she writes. “I enjoyed it far more than I imagined I would and it allowed us to see so much more of the city than traveling by Metro.”
And for photos of the most romantic city in the world, IgoUgo has no shortage of those.
