Because you can't spend all day every day journeying around IgoUgo, editors round up the highlights: members' notable trips, newest reviews, favorite destinations, contests, and more. Have a question or idea? Let us know!

If you are a member or a regular visitor to IgoUgo, you know our contributors offer inspiration, advice and travel ideas. For instance, Zhebiton’s recent review of Anton Gaudi’s “Casa Mila” in Barcelona called it “the most fabulous of houses of the Catalan capital, and possibly the world.”

And flyingscot4 extolled the wonders of Bruges as “one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. In Bruges you can look in any direction and find a postcard waiting for your camera.” So photogenic, in fact, that he took 800 photos in one night!

These two reviews highlight two of the 911 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a prestigious list that offers protection and preservation to what UNESCO, a special agency of the United Nations, considers are places “as having outstanding universal value.” So important is this list that Wikipedia has asked to be considered as a World Heritage Site, which would make it the first digital entity on the list.

This summer, IgoUgo will spotlight our members’ trips to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We are always inspired by the amazing photos and trip experiences and hope they encourage you to visit at least one of these sites this summer. For more information, visit the World Heritage List.
