It’s February. It’s drab. You want a little color in your life -- after all, you were the kid whose first-grade finger paintings bore a curious resemblance to the work of Lisa Frank. You want to visit a place where toucans and rainbows arc above mango trees, but you won’t have the time until it’s already warm outside. Fortunately for you, our crack team of decidedly undrab photographers are here to save the day. Our Photos of the Week are from every part of the spectrum.
Hawaii is gorgeous. When IgoUgo Member Princess00 visited Kauai, she capitalized on this fact, snapping a trippy photo of a cliffside rimmed with orange trails. Props to Princess for braving the helicopter tour.
Dia de los Muertos, as any seventh-grade Spanish student can tell you, is a Mexican holiday that celebrates the resurgent dead. When the Dia rolled around in Tepotzlan, Mexican native JesusW took a startling picture of a skeleton dressed to the nines. We’re frightened, but we have to admit: her fashion sense is impeccable.
