Cheerio, summer! While London may have a reputation as a stodgy financial capital, it sheds that façade—and more—in June. On June 9th, London’s Hyde Park plays host to the fourth annual World Naked Bike Ride, a six-mile ride past some of the city’s most famous sites. The event intends to raise awareness for biking and also to protest oil dependency and car-culture. Of course, for the more modest, there’s both tradition and excitement at Wimbledon.
