We love it when IgoUgo members (ourselves included) collectively quest to reach their winter weights before the holidays, because it means we’re full of great food and restaurant reviews. We enjoyed quite the smorgasbord this week, and, thanks to our new map feature, it’s like we’re right there breaking bread with you.

Have you seen the new maps? Now, in addition to getting a list view of New York restaurants, for example, you can view the eateries plotted on a map as well. Convenient, no? As always, let us know what you think of our new addition!

While we were getting the maps up and running, everyone else, it seems, was writing about food. Here are some of the brand-new community foodstuffs we'd love for you to try:

Café Au Lait & Beignets! at New Orleans’ Café Du Monde by CurlyGirl

Chinatown Yummies in Sydney by Poole Party

Egon Restaurant in Oslo by LenR

Christmas in Hershey Park by mh75

High Coffee, a La Paz journal by SeenThat

Dining on the Big Island of Hawaii, a newly updated journal by golden101

Vibrant foodie window-shopping among blueskygirl’s new Paris photos

Sarasota Hot Spot by sbabelle, complete with retro photos like the one above

Even IgoUgo’s most viewed destinations of the week seemed to focus on places renowned for rich dishes, including New York, Paris, Beijing, and Vietnam.

We're heading back to that map of New York restaurants now...bon appétit!
