We’ve gotten used to seeing certain things top IgoUgo’s list of most-viewed pages each week: destinations like Las Vegas, sights like the Statue of Liberty, and journals like Girls Gone Wild in South Beach. But this week, you sent a lot of new content to the top. From Tibet to Tokyo, Asia was popular, and it’s clear that Alaska season has arrived. Here’s the short tour of where you’ve been traveling around IgoUgo this week:
The only destination new to the top 10 was Alaska, where the climate is not unlike the one described in the most-read journal of the week, Experiencing Buddhism—12,000 Feet Above Sea Level by kwasiak (but Lhasa’s peaks look stunning, despite the chill). The second journal debuting in the top 10 is also from Asia: Budget-Style: Taipei (2.5 Days) by kylita. The third and last journal making its first appearance in the top 10 is Stonehenge: Wiltshire’s Most Famous Pile of Rocks by stomps, which covers the same ground as the week’s most-read blog post, 7 Must-See English Cities, London Not Included. Across the pond but still in the Commonwealth lies one of two reviews new to the top 10, Canada’s Wonderland. And the second, Bahrain Fort, Riffa Fort and Arad Fort, is a short hop from the destination depicted most often in the week’s top photos, Dubai.
