They’re not the first to plead for a little consideration in the air, either: there is a slew of resources out there for learning what to do—and what not to do—when you’re en-route. Practical Etiquette hands over a laundry list; The Window Seat names the top offenders; and Miss Manners herself speaks out about how to maintain a sense of decorum while away from home. Of course, short of passing around printouts on your next flight, you can’t guarantee that your fellow passengers are equally educated about air-travel etiquette. Our best advice: beat them at their own game.
