Two words: Watch out! Bike lanes are everywhere--really, everywhere--in the city. And they are barely differentiated from sidewalks. But somehow the bikers know where they are and ride full speed ahead on them at all times. Keep an eye out for reddish colored bricks and parts of the "sidewalk" that are sunken down a bit -- those are sometimes all you'll get for an indication that you are standing in a bike lane and in distinct danger of 1) getting run down or 2) more likely, just making a fool of your self by forcing bikers to go around you.
