While we we there for a wedding we took some time out to see some of the local attractions. While there is not as much to do as there is in Oahu, there were some nice sights. We we drove up to see the infamous waterfall. After going through as many winding roads as we could, it didn't disappoint. It was absolutely beautiful. While there we a number of people taking in the sight, we chuckled at the fact that there were local vendors there selling anything from jewelry to fruit. As we walked closer to the ledge we noticed people swimming below, and riding ATV's. We've definitely added that to our TO DO list.
After leaving the waterfall we decided to tour the infamous Kauai Coffee company. We were able to see acres and acres of the coffee beans, as well as going on a self guided tour which detailed the process. The gift shop allowed you to not only purchase their product, but there were plenty of samples of almost all of their flavors. Although I'm not a coffee fan, it provided a great opportunity to buy vacation gifts for friends, and family.
