I returned from New York City on a Sunday afternoon. It was beautiful and a little on the warm side for this time of year which was nice. The only downside was that the leaves had barely started changing so you could hardly tell it was fall, but I can’t complain.
Quick overview of everything I saw/did:
Top of the Rock Observation Deck - such a gorgeous view of the city, especially Central park (better than the Empire State Building in my opinion… and less crowded!)
Explored the Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Egyptian Art & European Paintings are my favorite galleries.
Walked through Central Park in search of Belvedere Castle which is more of a lookout point than an actual castle :D
Saw the Spider-Man musical on Broadway
World Trade Center Memorial - must reserve tickets ahead of time (very beautiful)
Saw a Kathy Griffin stand-up show
American Museum of Natural History
Saw Avenue Q - such a hilarious musical, I’d definitely it!
