We started out from Killarney, with a quick "photo op" at 15th century Ross Castle. Then on to the Ring, again driving counter-clockwise around the 110 kilometers. We took about 10 hours to make this circle, with many interesting stops and very slow driving on these narrow winding roads. Wild flowers were everywhere - they looked like wild irises, wild rhodedendrons, and what looked like Queen Anne's Lace but in a bush! There are castle ruins, ancient standing stones and stone rings (like small Stonehenges), quaint villages, and beautiful sea views.
