Based on experience, the best vacations are those spent with the whole family and, of course, those that every member enjoys. The excitement brought by the expectation to see and come across new adventures and sceneries is overwhelming. My family and I took a vacation in Canada and I could say, with absolute certainty, that this country offers diverse geological and geographical composition. From its freshwater lakes to its majestic rivers that hold a gamut of sport fish. And let us not forget the major water parks which my brother loves, if I may add, more particularly the rugged rafting down the rapids.
If you are not a fishing-type of person, or ‘fish person’ as my sister puts it, your vacation may be centered on the other sports that may be engaged in like skiing, deep sea scuba, sea kayaking, or one can also opt to deep sea fish. For the more adventurous, there is bungee jumping. And for those who really want some rest and relaxation, retreats and spas are ever present as well. An avid photographer will definitely find Canada’s sceneries breathtaking, awe-inspiring even.
On Canada, one can camp at the Provincial or Fiscal Park though it has a rather strict set of rules regulating noise, campfires, canines, and alcohol. All of these are banned in said park. But one may choose to camp on private grounds wherein logs are already provided for a few ranging from five to ten dollars. This is a must because picking up drift as well as dry woods is prohibited and this is a ground to be asked to leave the premises without any refund. But in here, campfires, dogs, as well as alcohol are allowed. There is also the backwoods camping. And this one is permitted on most lands owned by the government, and the campers are required to check in with forestry personnel or rangers for fire hazard information.
For others, vacations connote staying in small, family-owned bead and breakfasts, which is mushrooming nowadays. And let us not forget about the hot springs and spa related businesses. As for those who love winter, there are world-class winter sports that can be enjoyed particularly skiing.
Vacations in Canada also mean being immersed in the beauty of nature, the wildlife, and the great outdoors. As mentioned earlier, Canada waters are filled with game fish from bass to walleye, mackerel to cod. Bird watchers will have a treat too as there will be an absolute smorgasbord of various species of birds with different sizes and colors.
Clearly, for a wonderful vacation, one can easily visit Canada and for sure, regret will not be a part of it.
