Braden Castle {to me} was one of those places that you felt obligated to go see because it's "historical". So we went, and it was fine, but I wouldn't put it on a "You MUST See This" list.
Naive me, I actually thought this was a castle. It is not. It is the RUINS of a castle. A mighty small one at that, as it looked to be the size of my apartment. The weirdest part was that it is in the middle of a trailer park. Not a stereotypical broken down trailer park, but a FLORIDA trailer park {very clean, 55+ only}. When you drive around the park on it's extremely narrow streets, you kind of feel like an intruder. If anyone is outside they kind of stare at you...like "I know everybody that lives in this park and you don't, so why are you here??" kinda looks. I found the mini world unto itself that was the trailer park to be more interesting than the Castle!
I recommend a drive through, but keep expectations low unless you like historical sites.
