My fiance and I went to the Abingdon Manor just for a little get away and I must say I could not ask for a better bed and breakfast to stay at! The Abingdon Manor is an old plantation that has been restored and with such beautiful southern elegance we both fell in love! Vicki the inn keeper is such a wonderful person to talk to, she is always there to take care of any needs or answer any questions, but most importantly she makes you feel like you are home. Even though it rained throughout the weekend we were there, the gardens still looked so picturesque and breathe taking that we would always sit outside on the porch and watch it rain. The rooms do not feel as though it is a hotel room, you feel very at home and the decor is very elegant, but simple. Even though it is a bed and breakfast and it would seem as though breakfast would be toast with some jam, juice, and maybe tea or coffee; the Abingdon Manor offers more than an exquisite breakfast and once again as I said before it is simple, but it is a memorizing breakfast that tantalizes all your taste buds. The last day we were there we realized this would be the perfect place to have our wedding ceremony and Vicki was very welcoming to our idea and would work with us. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast one hundred percent.
