So you are in New York. You go to the fancy restaurants, the parks, dash all around town. Slow down for half a second and walk across the Williamsburg Bridge. It is a beautiful walk, taking 20 to 30 minutes. You cross the river leaving Brooklyn behind you as the whole of the city of Manhattan comes into view. There are even little viewing nooks where you can stop for a minute to really get a good look. One of my favorite things to do after this amazing little dreamy walk is to get a bite to eat at a restaurant in Chinatown, which is only a few blocks away. I always choose a new restaurant. I take my time choosing a restaurant and try to take in all that Chinatown has to offer while doing so. Smells, little fish in barrels, dragon fruits, the longest string beans ever...try something new.
