Located just three miles from Cooperstown, this 1856 water powered cider mill offers free tours, a gift shop, and samples of various food products made with apples. There is also a bakery on site that serves fresh hot apple cider and apple pies. I really enjoyed coming to this authentic cider mill, which I found out from staying at the Best Western. It was really cool seeing how the apples were pressed and made into cider, plus I recommend this place to anyone who wants a unique experience for free.
