Our favorite spot at this remote park is called Spooner's Cove. If you go, try to go at sunset on a clear day. The sun setting over the water is amazing. During the day, numerous trails beckon hikers. There is a visitor's center across from Spooner's Cove that has a little history of the area told in antiques of the era. A ranger is on hand for questions and information. Surfers like the waves off the park. There are no park fees. The closest town is Los Osos. There are several restaurants there.
