What You Really See

We arrived in Fish Creek in late September. The local will tell you that the trees don't really start to change color until about mid to late October. They were wrong this time. Coming from the Phoenix, AZ area, we don't get to see the beauty of fall. Everywhere you looked there were reds and oranges and brown and greens; all making a most wonderful live painting. Even in the (brief) rain the landscape was alive with color, and serenity. Throw in an old farmer's market or two (actually, there quite a few), a winery (also quite a few) and a local fall festival, and you are back in the "old country". Wow!
