Niagara Falls Stories and Tips

On Our Way Through Bennington

View from the Monument Photo - Bennington, Vermont

Bennington is a great place to shop for crafts and antiques. We drove through Bennington on our way up to, and back from, Niagara Falls. You can read about that in my journal entitled "Passing Through". There are multiple used book stores in town. On the outskirts of town there you will find the Bennington Battle Monument. Also, on the outskirts not far from the monument, is this great place to spend a few hours. It is called Antique Center at
Camelot
Village

on Route 9 West. There is a multi floor antique coop, with books, glass, china, furniture, toys etc. In the same complex is a large craft shop. Adjacent to the antique coop is a gift/food shop and wine. The antique coop provides a service to their dealers by providing on line selling on eBay as well. It is a great place to spend a few hours on a night when you are just passing through. The link I provided should bring you to a site where you can get a full virtual tour. It is great.
