The Inn is a historical gem, and the hosts, Albert and Dawn Schick, are gems as well. Our suite, the Fensterer-Davis, is as luxurious as it is spacious. Waiting for us in our room was a nice bottle of wine and a very tasty cheese platter. This set us up very well for dinner at an excellent Italian restaurant that the Schicks had recommended and graciously called to make reservations for us.
Breakfast the next morning was simply sumptuous. The main dish was creative, delicious, elegantly served, and so generous that my wife and I skipped lunch that day. Everything about the Inn is so well done and historically authentic that I had trouble finding something of which to be critical. I finally find one--the bath needs a better light by the mirror to make shaving easier, even if it means sacrificing a bit of authenticity.
Seriously, we thank Albert and Dawn for a most enjoyable overnight and heartily recommend a stay at the Grace Manor Inn if you like to feel truly pampered.
