NASA Road 1

Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center Photo, Houston, Texas

Nasa Road 1 is a popular road to be on. This is the road that our hotel (Quality Inn) was on, and also a lot of other things to do and see. I wanted to write about this road because if you are going to this area (Webster, Seabrook, Clearlake, Kemah), this is the road that you want to find a hotel on. There are many to choose from.

NASA Road 1 has a great variety of places to go such as the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (2101 NASA Parkway), where "Houston, we have a problem" came from, and the Space Center Houston (1601 NASA Parkway) which is the visitors center.

For more information about the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, call 281-483-0123 or go to: http://www.nasa.gov/centers/johnson/home/index.html

For more information about the Space Center Houston, call 281-244-2100 or go to: http://www.spacecenter.org/about.html

Also on NASA Road 1, we were very close to IHOP and The Waffle House where we got to eat breakfast. We also were able to spend some time at the Starbucks down the road.

There is so much to do and see on NASA Road 1 and if you are going to this area, you need to consider finding a hotel on this road. If you don't plan on staying in the area, it would be a good idea to set some time aside to visit NASA Road 1.
