We went there just to have a better view of the "Volcan de Colima", and we got more than that. It's north of Colima City, near Maria's Lagoon (Laguna La Maria), and we have to take a small road to get to La Yerbabuena, a small town where a few families live, and ask for the key to open the gate to the road.
It's a beautiful spot to admire the nature—everything is green, the road is in good condition, and if we were lucky (or maybe unlucky), we were be able to see leopards!! If you go to visit Colima, you must go to the north of the state to admire the nature and all the lagoons, anthills, mountains, and of course, the volcano. It's better to go in January, when the volcano has snow on it.
