We went on this trip to spend Christmas away from home and to celebrate my 50th anniversary. We started the day with a breakfast at Puerto Vista, a small restaurant. The breakfast was simple, but you could have eggs and bacon (English) and a pastry. We had one glass of champagne to drink.
After breakfast, we went down to the heart-shaped island and waited for a helicopter ride. The fee was 50 euros each, but it was worth it. We had a 15-minute ride around the resort, over the town Arguineguin, up to the Vulcano mountain, over the village Mogan, down to the sea again, and up for a closer look at Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico.
Then we hit the road and had a drive in our rented car to Las Palmas for shopping. It was cloudy, and there was some rain, so we returned to the south again and did more sunbathing.
In the evening, we had a romantic dinner at Grand Bahia restaurant and grill (that's another entry).
