We had a great time. The staff was great and friendly.
We visited the Flume Gorge, about 20 minutes away. The attraction was a pay-to-hike, but it was worth it. The natural wonder was beautiful.
It was off-season when we were there, so there wasn't very much to do. The resort didn't have any planned activities, and I would have liked a few options. The grounds were beautiful to explore and watch. The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid-back. Town is only three miles away and includes a Rite Aid Pharmacy and a McDonald's, along with all the neat, small shops of the area.
This is a nice spot for people who don't want to be bothered by crowds or fast-paced environments. Off-season is best for this. According to the locals, this is a hopping spot come summer and especially in the winter, due to its famous ski trails. It was a relaxing week, and I would recommend this for the family who just wants to spend time with each other.
