If you go from Pigeon Forge through Gatlinburg you will run into The Great Smokey Mountains National Park. We went to Laural Falls while there. It is a two and a half mile hike up the side of the mountain. While we were hiking I got tired. It was my first time hiking and I am not in good shape. But once there, it was well worth the hike. On the way you could see right off the edge of the mountain. The falls were beautiful. It was good to see the wonders of nature undisturbed and peaceful. If you are taking children please keep a close eye on them. So if you are there please take the time to experience it for yourself.
