I haven’t had a chance to see much of the area yet. I have only been here since Sunday night and it's only Friday. I have spent most of my time at work or at our apartment trying to get over the 15-hour time difference between here and Australia. So far I have only really spent time in Broadripple, which is about 20 minutes north from downtown Indianapolis. There are heaps of shops and art galleries. Broadripple also offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor dining and a wide variety of pubs and clubs. Broadripple is very small, and it is safe to walk through at night as long as you stay on the main street and in the well-lit areas, and it is a really pretty little suburb.
