Boondocking

Yuma Desert Photo, Yuma, Arizona

If you have tried boondocking, this is a wonderful area. We try to boondock for three or four days between stays at RV parks. It is a nice contrast of peace and quiet (solar energy) in the desert versus the hustle and bustle of a busy campground. The hiking opportunities are endless, the quiet is wonderful, the stars in the night sky are incredible and you can't beat the price. If you find the right spot, there are even only a handful of other RVs scattered within site. On our last visit, there were only two other RVs within about a three-mile radius.
