We rented kayaks for a ride on the Delaware River. There were many outfits in the area, and we chose one right next to The Villas resort. They offered either a 4-mile or 10-mile trip downstream, with the current.
We chose the 4-mile trip, parked our car at the finish point, and they then drove us upstream to the starting point, outfitted us, and then we set out.
The experience was quite peaceful. It was possible to drift with the current, so not much effort was required. The trip took about 1½ hours, but seemed really quick. Another time, we would take the 10-mile trip.
