In my opinion, the best time to visit Andalucia is springtime and particularly at Easter. You need seven full days to explore the sights.

We started our trip from Marbella and took N340 and then A381 which was a big mistake. I recommend you to take A376 and have a stop at Ronda. It is only 45km from Costa del Sol. If there is one romantic town in Andalucia it is, without doubt, Ronda. It is perched on the edge of the impressive tajo(gorge) at the bottom of which winds the little river Guadalevin. The city is proud to have the oldest arena.

We arrived in Sevilla on Sunday morning which proved to be the best day to visit the princess Sevila. Once we entered the tree-lined boulevard Paseo de las Delicias, we found a parking lot opposite Plaza de Espania. No cars were driving along the boulevard, but instead only horse-drawn carriages going down the streets giving the city a sweet, romantic note.

The first thing I recommend is to take a tour por Sevilla (Guide Friday $10). You will get orientated with the city, admire Sevilla's impressive monumental heritage and then explore the city on foot or by car.
To get to know Seville, it it vital:
(1) to wander around the small and delightful Santa Cruz district. (One of the most charming features of the district are the narrow streets and tiny squares and the beautiful old houses whose balconies are full of bougainvillacas and geraniums and fill the air with a delicate aroma).
(2) to wander around the popular Triana, whose iron bridge permits excellent views of the city with the river Guadalquivir and the Maestranza bullring in the foreground and Sevilla's towers: the Giralda and the Torre del Oro.

Wherever you are in Sevilla you can breathe the fragrance of orange blossom and leave the place with unforgettable memories.

NOTE: If you want to go back to Costa del Sol take motorway A 92.
