We went to Guadeloupe the week of November 15. This is supposed to be the tail end of hurricane season, and therfore also the end of the rainy season.
The first day it really rained buckets. The rain was so heavy that it was difficult to see the road on our taxi ride in from the airport at Point-a-Pitre to St. Francois. We were glad we had decided not to rent a car, although for those so inclined the road systems are very good.
Back to the weather--we had a little bit of intermittant rain the second day, and then the balance of the week was sunny each day with temperatures in the high 80s, low 90s.
