We were a little disappointed with this place. Not that it wasn't nice, it just wasn't what we were used to (Orange Lake). Check in was really rough, we got in a little early and didn't really expect our room to be ready. They told us to come back at 4pm. We went and got something to eat and came back around 4:30. We were then told the room was still not ready, come back in an hour. After driving all day to get there with 3 kids under 5, this was a little tough. When we came back at 5:30 our room was ready, but the front desk just handed us a packet of info and acted like we bothered him. Our room was 252 in Key West. We walked over to Key west, took the elevator up to the 2nd floor and found that there was no 252 on that floor. After a half hour, we found out from another guest, that you had to go around to the side of the building and use a seperate stairway to get to it. Let me tell you, it was a really long, rough day. To make matters worse, when we complained, they advised that we should go and fill out a survey to tell of our experience. We agreed, only to find out that not only was it a survey that lasted 5 minutes, but also they pushed a 2 hour sales pitch on the Fairfield. With 3 kids with you, a 2 hour sales pitch is a trip from hell. Pompano beach was nice, the Sea Gardens was nice, but I don't think we'll go back.
